Verizon Data Services (via Collabera)

Software Architect

• Designed and developed PCE360, a data warehouse that combines information from 18 different systems to create a full view of a Verizon emplyee’s system, project and application access.
• Used Web services to facilitate automated data loading from our business units into the PCE360 database.
• Created a front-end website which allows users to search and browse records in the PCE360 system. Specific features included data masking based on user permissions, advanced interface functionality using jQuery, as well as several data mining tools used to generate reports based on user-supplied requirements.
• Served as a mentor and leader for other members of the PCE360 team by conducting training sessions.

Gentiva Health Services (via Hudson Global Resources)

Software Architect/Product Manager, Legacy Systems

• Work with business users to develop functional specifications and programmers to build technical specifications to modifications of Gentiva’s legacy systems.
• Manage the development path for applications created in .Net (C#), Oracle 9i, Visual Basic 6 and various miscellaneous utilities.
• Oversee development for Intake, Eligibility and Claims systems in a 600 user environment.
• Merged all of our source code into a coherent Visual SourceSafe 2005 repository which handles all aspects of Source Code Management. It integrates with custom build tools, our internal “Request For Support” system as well as defect tracking tools. It is possible for Gentiva to trace any request to a specific piece of code. This system has made a remarkable impact on the communication, development and testing processes at Gentiva.

• Architected the complete technology solution for the start-up company, which handles homeowner's insurance processing for several insurance companies.
• Managed all aspects of the design and development of the company's web-based software.
• Negotiated and managed vendor contracts to fulfill the company's hardware and software needs.
• Implemented catastrophe planning and redundancy solutions to ensure that services would still be offered in case of an emergency.
• Hired and managed 4 full time developers and a System Engineer. Also managed a mailroom staff of 3 and 12 data entry persons.

Aegon Equity Group [eBusiness Group] - (04/2001 - 01/2003)

• Served as a liaison between eBusiness and AEG's creative department to develop branding strategies for all of AEG's websites and corporate intranet.
• Primary design coordinator for all of AEG's public websites (http://www.westernreserve.com, http://www.idexfunds.com, http://www.transamericapital.com) as well as AEG's intranet.
• Developed a template based intranet solution to standardize departmental intranet sites, including a dynamic forms-based request system that allowed non-developers to build HTML-based forms for intranet use.

GTE / Verizon [Information Security] - (08/1999 - 04-2001), (01/2003-03/2003)

• Led Verizon's Security Awareness campaign, which focused on training users about general computer security principles in order to facilitate a more secure network environment.
• Created the AORS (Access Online Request System), which is used by Information Security to provide user access to Verizon Systems.

• Developed innovative marketing campaigns (Blimpie Subs 3D website promotion) to generate buzz and interest in our client's websites and products.

Community Involvement

Public Relations Committee Chairman - Ye Enchanted Krewe Of Brigadoon

A local social organization. We perform charity events for Make-A-Wish, Metropolitan Ministries, Hurricane Katrina, and several other organizations. We also march in several parades including Gasparilla and Guavaween. I serve the Krewe by building relationships with local media organizations to promote our causes. I also maintain the Krewe’s website (as of 1/1/2007) and enable communication within the group.

Campaign Manager - USAction (Non-Partisan)

During the 2004 election season I volunteered my services to FCAN's voter registration drive. Under my leadership, USAction registered over 40,000 voters in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. Our Successful GOTV (Get Out The Vote) efforts showed 90-100
